Drying off from my shower, I noticed yet another piece of glitter. This one was on my upper thigh. It had been almost a week since Nathan had sucked me off, and I was still seeing glorious reminders of how he looked, his makeup a mess from our making out, his lips swollen. “Ahh, I see.” I grabbed my jeans off the bed. I hated that I needed to get dressed, especially now that I was hearing his voice.

We’d come to an understanding. What that understanding would eventually manifest into and look like was still not decided, but it didn’t need to be. We were going to give this thing a shot.

“I don’t generally look at my ass, so I probably have a bunch there that needs investigating.” I pressed speaker and set the phone down so I could finish getting dressed. “I’m heading to Lollipops to give a quote. Maybe after that you could help me find these pesky glitter flakes?”

“I like marking you.” The lilt in his voice said he meant it to be a light tease, but there was truth in it, and I loved that.

“Then you’ll have to mark me again.”

“I just might.” Pickles meowed. “My sweet girl hears me.”

“That she does.” She meowed again. “She misses you.” I did, too, and it had been what? A half a day since I saw him.

“She’ll see me soon enough and, speaking of seeing someone soon, how long will you be tied up at Lollipops?”

“Not too long. I can call you when I’m done, and we can meet somewhere.” Like his bed.
